An arm lift, also known as brachioplasty, reduces excess skin and fat between the underarm and the elbow, reshaping your arms to result in smoother skin and more youthful contours. Dr. Poulos in Northborough is able to achieve elegant, personalized results that reflect your unique aesthetic sensibilities and wishes for improvement.
What is an arm lift?
An arm lift is a strategic procedure to help tone, slim and sculpt the upper arms, reducing sagging skin while boosting your satisfaction with your image.
Patients who have experienced massive weight loss, such as from a gastric bypass, may benefit from this procedure, as will those whose skin has lost its elasticity as they’ve aged. Many of our patients describe their pre-surgery arms as looking and feeling like “bat wings.”
While not a replacement for brachioplasty, liposuction of the arms is a cosmetic procedure that consistently yields the highest level of patient satisfaction.
A slim, elegant arm lends the appearance of a slimmer torso and allows you to wear sleeveless clothing with confidence. Brachioplasty must be performed in a hospital setting; however liposuction of the arms may be performed in our in-office surgical suite.
