How to Fight Your Cellulite
Our bodies are always fluctuating to keep up with different changes that occur in our lives, such as aging, pregnancy, hormone levels, and weight changes. But just as we cannot control the varying changes in our lives, we also cannot control some of the effects that these changes have on our bodies. One of these unavoidable effects is cellulite: a dimpling, “cottage cheese” appearance of the skin that is most commonly found in areas including the abdomen, thighs, hips, upper arms, and buttocks. Many believe that cellulite is just the result of fat buildup from a poor diet and lack of exercise, but in fact, excess fat is not the only cause. Cellulite is actually the result of a deeper issue, quite literally, as its effects are caused by a structural problem that resides below the surface of the skin.
Cellulite appears when bands of tissue beneath the skin stiffen, and the fat cells they surround have enlarged, which forces the stiff tissue bands to pull down on the skin while the fat cells push up simultaneously. This uneven pushing and pulling of the skin causes the displeasing “cottage cheese” appearance to the skin.
Previously, cellulite has been treated only on the surface of the skin with temporary results, without addressing the tissue bands underneath. But now with the development of Cellulaze, a minimally invasive, laser-assisted procedure, qualified physicians are able to treat cellulite at its source, resulting in long-term improvement.
During the Cellulaze procedure, I simply insert a tiny laser fiber under the surface of the skin, which then gently heats the skin and melts down the enlarged fat cells. Then, the laser frees the tissue bands that are pulling down on the skin. So essentially, the result reduces the pushing up and pulling down effect on the skin. Lastly, the laser stimulates collagen production, which increases the skin’s thickness and elasticity to ultimately create a smoother and more balanced appearance.
Cellulaze is clinically proven to improve the appearance of your skin and decrease your unwanted cellulite. Many patients have been so overwhelmingly satisfied with the results of this procedure that they recommended the treatment to their friends. With just one treatment, you too can get healthier and smoother looking skin that lasts!
